The Great Lakes Cup Rocketry Contest and Expo will be a fun event for the whole family. We are still in the planning stages but have the dates and location confirmed. We'll have a registration page for competitors up shortly.

Our contest activities start Saturday morning and continue through Sunday afternoon. Enjoy watching world-class spacemodelers launch their rockets high into the sky during the contest which runs on Saturday and Sunday. Numerous contest events are being held including parachute and streamer duration contests where the flyer keeps the rocket aloft for the longest period of time. Enjoy watching boost gliders and radio controlled rocket gliders that take off under rocket power then soar around the sky.

Online registration for competitors will be available soon. Meanwhile, you can make your hotel reservations at the AmericInn, our host hotel, by clicking here. The group code, if needed, is ROCKET2012. The AmericInn is located about 10 minutes from the flying field and is very conveniently located in a shopping district with lots of restaurants.

Competitors can download Bulletin 1 of the event for planning purposes. We will publish additional bulletins as more details become available.
