TINGSHOTOS

Welcome to the home page of the Illinois Society of Amateur Rocketry (ISAR). We are a newer Section of the National Association of Rocketry that serves the Chicago suburban area. Our club promotes rocketry for the entire family with an emphasis on supporting the youth of our communities through rocketry related educational programs.

We're scheduling our first meeting for 2009 very soon. Please click here to fill out a form so that we can contact you once we have our meeting time and place scheduled.

Please contact us if you would like to have your group be involved in rocketry and we'll take it from there!

Here's a flyer on our club (flyer).

We have a building and launch session coming up in April on the 22nd and 29th. This is being held in conjunction with the Kendall County 4H group and is open to all kids from ages 8-18. The April 22nd session will be a 2-hour building session where participants will learn about model rockets and get to build a real model rocket for the low fee of $8.00. We'll provide the rocket kit and building materials. The April 29th session will be the launch date where a fun and safe launch will be conducted.

Here's some additional information on this workshop at flyer. You can contact the Kendall County 4H office (Extension Office) at (630)553-5823 to register.
